The Short
Transafrican Air specializes in tailored air cargo solutions for humanitarian and government organizations; regional cargo consolidators and airline partners; as well as corporates and individuals with short term, long term, scheduled and ad-hoc need for aircraft.
With a fleet of 4 aircraft and growing; we presently cover a capacity range of 1.5 – 15 Tonnes, with our;
- 2 Dornier 228 – 1.5 Tons,
- 1 British Aerospace ATP – 8 Tons and,
- 1 Boeing 737 – 15 Tons.
Transafrican Air holds an Air Operator Certificate (AOC), an Air Service License (ASL) and an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.

Our Story
Transafrican Air, commonly referred to as ‘TAA’ was established in 2011 to provide safe and cost effective air transport solutions for both passengers and cargo in the East African region. Since inception, TAA has grown to become a notable player in the air cargo charter and logistics business in the region, with regular air cargo services in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Somalia and The Democratic Republic of Congo.
